Grants Framework
All Multicultural Grants programs are administered in accordance with the Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles 2024 (CGRPS), the Australian Government Grants Frameworks, and the
Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013.
These include requirements that the decision maker is satisfied the project or activity would be an efficient, effective, economical and ethical use of funds.
The Department of Home Affairs provides grants to organisations for specific purposes or to deliver outcomes to support a multicultural Australia. The Department
does not provide multicultural grants to individuals.
