The Australian Government is investing $5 million to support the urgent needs of Palestinian and Muslim communities in Australia affected by the Hamas-Israel conflict:
- $2.6 million has been provided through one-off grants to Australian Palestinian-led community organisations to provide further emergency relief. The funds will help meet the needs of recent arrivals from Gaza and support the social inclusion and participation of Palestinian Australians across Australia.
- $2.4 million has been provided through new, one-off grants to community organisations providing youth services and pathways to positive community engagement. The funding will focus on building the leadership, capacity and confidence of young Muslim Australians impacted by the conflict and humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
