Corporate plans

​​​​The Corporate Plan is the Department of Home Affairs primary planning document and sets out our purpose, priorities and performance measures for the years ahead. The Corporate Plan establishes how we intend to evaluate our performance over a horizon of up to four years and aligns to the programs contained within the annual portfolio budget statements (PBS).

Corporate plans are a legislative requirement under section 35 of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act). Our Corporate Plan, alongside our Annual Performance Statement, effectively measure, report on and guide the Department’s activities and give effect to the Enhanced Commonwealth Performance Framework.
