Feedback on your screening experience

Screening of passengers and baggage at Australian airports is the responsibility of individual airports, airlines and their contractors. Feedback and complaints can be made to the on-duty screening supervisor at the time of screening. If the matter is not handled to your satisfaction, contact the relevant airport or airline directly.

To provide feedback about the policy, programs or service provided by Department, contact TravelSecure@homeaffairs.gov.au.

Once you have submitted your feedback we will endeavour to respond within two business days, excluding national and ACT public holidays.
Note: Our office hours are 9 am to 5 pm AEST, Monday to Friday.

The Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development collects personal information for the purposes of responding to your feedback, query or complaint.

The Department will use this information to respond to your enquiry and may disclose your information to relevant contacts within the Department in order to investigate your feedback/complaint. Your personal information will not be provided to external third parties, except where this is required by law. If you do not provide the information requested the Department may not be able to respond to your enquiry.
