This forms part of the deliverables under the 2023-2030 Australian Cyber Security Strategy.
The department is conducting targeted consultation on a voluntary Code of Practice for Cyber Incident Response Providers (the Code). The Code is being co-designed by:
- the National Office of Cyber Security (NOCS)
- The Australian Signals Directorate (ASD)
- industry
This ensures cyber security firms provide fit-for-purpose services consistent with public expectations that support the Australian economy.
