Multicultural grants
The Australian Government’s response to combatting Islamophobia includes new grant opportunities for Muslim communities and Muslim community organisations to strengthen participation, resilience and leadership, with a focus on women and youth.

Islamophobia Education Taskforce
The Australian Government’s response to combatting Islamophobia includes the establishment of a 12-month Islamophobia Education Taskforce. It will consider actions to help the Australian education system prevent, tackle and properly respond to Islamophobia.

Special Envoy’s report – A National Response to Islamophobia
On 12 September 2025 Australia’s Special Envoy to Combat Islamophobia, Mr Aftab Malik, published his report –
