While Australia’s COVID-19 travel restrictions were in place, individual travel exemptions could be approved in limited, exceptional circumstances.
From 6 July 2022, travel restrictions have changed. All visa holders may now travel to Australia without needing a travel exemption, as long as they hold a valid visa and meet all normal border entry requirements.
The Travel Exemptions Portal is no longer available, as exemptions are not required for entry to Australia.
