The Cyber Security Challenge is an annual competition run by an alliance of Australian Government, business and academic professionals. The competition has been run each year since 2012.
The competition, led by the Department, is open to full-time Australian university undergraduates and undergraduate-equivalent TAFE students based in Australia. Each team may contain up to four students.
The Department is also exploring a number of exciting opportunities to expand the Cyber Security Challenge Australia to encourage students from all disciplines to consider cyber security careers.
We are also working with our international partners, particularly New Zealand, on international dimensions to the Challenge.
