Illicit drugs threaten our community, and impact the growth of our economy. They also put pressure on our public systems and undermine public confidence
To be successful in combating illicit drugs, we must work together and use all the tools available to us, including:
- detecting and seizing drugs at the border
- working with international partners to prevent illicit drugs entering Australia
- drawing on intelligence and research to inform the development of effective responses
Our monthly reporting dashboards provide a snapshot of what the Australian Government is doing to combat illicit drugs.
