Who we are

The Department of Home Affairs was created as part of the Home Affairs Portfolio on 20 December 2017.

Cheryl-anne Moy

Cheryl-anne is an experienced Senior Executive with a policy, corporate, program, service delivery and operational background. She joined the public service after a career in banking, finance and fraud investigations.

Cheryl-anne has a diverse background and has managed large and high profile programs such as Regional Processing, Children in Immigration, Ministerial and Parliamentary Entitlements and social welfare programs such as Retirement, Rural Regional and Employment.

As First Assistant Secretary Integrity, Security Assurance and Chief Audit Executive she is accountable for the Department's and Australian Border Force's Integrity and Professional Standards program; protective and physical security; and Audit and Assurance of all departmental programs, including the ABF.

As Deputy Secretary Corporate and Enabling/Chief Operating Officer, Cheryl-anne manages seven divisions delivering all corporate capability to the Department and the Australian Border Force.
