The Department has modernised its website with a new searchable online format for tariff-related information for importers.

The updated online versions of the Working Tariff and Tariff Concession Orders will significantly improve the capability of users to search for specific tariff-related data on the Department’s website. This tariff-related data was previously displayed in .pdf format only, but the Department has acted on stakeholder feedback to improve both accessibility and user-friendliness.

The fresh, new look applies to:
  • The Working Tariff: This is an online version of the Combined Australian Customs Tariff Nomenclature and Statistical Classification. It incorporates the Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System, which define internationally-accepted tariff classifications for traded goods. It also records Australian rates of customs duties for imported goods, and related statistical codes from the Australian Bureau of Statistics. View the Working Tariff - Online version.
  • Tariff Concession Orders (TCOs): More than 15,000 TCOs are now easily searchable, and more accessible for importers and manufacturers. View the Tariff Concession Orders.
