Where can I get my photograph and fingerprints taken?

To get your photograph and fingerprints taken, you must go to one of our offices that has the right equipment. If you have included your family members in your application, they should all get their photographs and fingerprints taken at the same time.

If applying in Australia: you need to make an appointment with one of the following offices.

  • Australian Visa Application Centre
  • Australian Biometrics Collection Centre
  • Australian Mission (if applicable).

These facilities are for the purposes of Australian visas. If you require fingerprint collection or a photograph to support another countries application you need to contact the embassy or consulate of that country.
